Nashville blues recording artist Bobby Messano, who recently hooked a three-album deal with Fishhead Records, has now been added to the nationally syndicated radio show Blues Deluxe, hosted by Dave Johnson. The blues show is aired in more than a 100 markets, reaching 2.8 million blues listeners. The show will feature track three of Messano's latest release Holdin Ground, titled Get up and Dance (With the Blues.)

The movie and television industry has also taken notice of Bobby's work. Moviegoers can hear his gutsy, soulful voice and music in A Chorus Line, and No Small Affair, starring Demi Moore, and in Love, Cheat and Steal, starring Eric Roberts and John Lithgow. In television, two tracks Messano's Holdin Ground were picked up by CBS's #1 Saturday night drama The District.

Messano, formerly with Ichiban Records, has toured extensively on his own, and with various artists including Steve Winwood, Lou Gramm, Les Dudek and Benny Mardones. Bobby will be touring this year supporting his latest release with his band, NBO, and will also be doing special guest appearances with Curb Records Recording artist Rodney Atkins. Holdin Ground is a pivotal release, according to Chase, backed with national distribution through City Hall Records and targeted retail, radio and press promotions throughout North America.

Messano's Holdin Ground is now available at select retail outlets such as Tower Records and Borders Music, and on the web through Amazon.com, CD Now, and fishheadrecords.com.
