Pat The White

Patrick Leblanc (Pat The White) is an award winning artist from the Gaspé region of Québec.

Pat's influences include all the great Blues Guitarists from BB King to Albert Collins. Pat's most recent influences include Derek Trucks & Warren Haynes,

Since 1999, Pat has been playing Clubs & Festivals in and around Quebec. Festivals including The Montreal Jazz Festival, The Mont Tremblant Blues Festival, The Maximum Blues Festival & the Sun Flower Gospel & Blues Festival in Clarksdale, Mississippi, U.S.A.

Pat's rise to stardom began in 2002. Pat was involved with a small group of Gaspésie musicians, including Nanette Workman, that went down to Clarksdale Mississippi to experience the Blues from its roots. This trip became a Documentary Film on Télé-Québec. Pat returned to the Sun Flower Festival in 2004

In 2003 & 2004 Pat was honored with Quebec's prestigious "Lysblues Award" in the catagory of "Best Live Performance."

In February of 2004 Pat released his self titled debut album. That year he also "headlined" the Maximum Blues Festival in his home town of Carleton, Quebec. His show drew a capacity crowd.

In 2005 Pat was nominated for the Maple Blues "Best New Artist" Award.

Between 2004 & 2006 Pat performed on 3 occasions on the Television program "Belle et Bum".

In February of 2006, Pat released his 2nd Album, "Reviver", the band launched their new album at the historic Capitole Theatre in Quebec City. It was a huge success.

Since the album launch Pat's music has been featured on radio stations accross Canada, The USA & Europe.

On June 29, 2006 Pat performed on national television, the Radio-Canada television program "Bons Baiser de France"

On July 3, 2006 PTW Band played to an overflow crowd of aproximately 15,000 at the Montreal Jazz Festval.

On December 24th, 2006 Pat was interviewed by Global television to coincide with his final show of the year, a return engagement at the Capitole Theatre on December 29th.

2007 is shaping up to be an exciting year for the Band. They are scheduled to tour France in September as well perform at Festivals all over eastern Canada. Pat's carreer is on the rise and where it takes him is anybody's guess but one thing is certain, Pat loves to play music and wants to reach out to as many people as possible.
