Danny Bryant's Redeyeband

Danny Bryant’s Redeyeband came to being in 1999, the present line up comprises of Danny Bryant – lead guitar/vocals/songwriter, Ken Bryant [his father] bass and Trevor Barr on drums. Ken’s solid bass playing meshes perfectly with Trevor to make a tight driving rhythm section. The band are a power house trio led by one of the UK’s leading guitar players in his field who has an astounding way of getting more and more out of his guitar, taking his playing to another level at every show! Danny's singing perfectly compliments his guitar playing, whether he is belting out a raw blues/rock number, or a subtler rendition, his voice as much as his guitar playing is now his well-known trademark. As Danny has matured, so has his song writing, and by the age of 26 he has already written many superb songs, from gutsy guitar driven rockers to beautiful hauntingly sung ballads, his songs are so popular that other bands now cover them regularly and at shows he is besieged by people requesting their favourite Danny Bryant numbers, and he always does his very best to fit them all in. In July 2004 the band released their third album entitled ‘Covering Their Tracks’, the first time that the band have featured some covers as well as original songs, they have had so many requests from audiences to record these covers which they play live at shows that they bowed to popular demand. The album sold in great quantities, and their prior releases ‘Watching You’ [2002] and ‘Shadows Passed [2003] are still selling extremely well. The band currently have four albums out, the last one ‘Days Like This’ has special guest Walter Trout on the title track, and this is proving to be their most popular release so far. The band’s fifth album is being recorded in September, this will be the first time that the band have been captured live on stage in front of an audience filled with all their many loyal fans, this is the way that Danny and the band should be heard!! ‘Danny Bryant’s RedEyeBand LIVE’ will be released before the end of the year. Further proof, of Danny’s rise in profile, is that he has been taken on for artist’s support by Marshall Amplification, they are supplying and maintaining his Marshall TSL 100 amps from now on, and also he is very happy that he has now got a guitar endorsement by Fret-King guitars, this company is owned by guitar innovator and designer Trevor Wilkinson, who has made and adapted guitars for so many famous guitarists, including Chris Rea and Jeff Beck. Danny and the band are also going down a storm on the Continent, regularly touring over there to big, enthusiastic audiences and playing and often headlining at many Festivals, always gathering new fans at every show. The band has made many great friends in the UK, Belgium and Holland; a popular magazine recently described them as ‘the people’s band’, which is very appropriate indeed, they love to meet people after their shows and talk to them and get to know them a little. None the less, all three members of the band are all totally professional and committed musicians who always give one hundred percent at every show, working hard to make sure that everyone in the audience has the best time ever. They have become one of the most popular blues/rock bands on the festival/club circuit and Danny Bryant’s RedEyeBand are definitely one of the most exciting live stage acts you will ever see or hear!
