Cee James Band

Cee Cee James... lead vocalist and songwriter, previously known as ‘the funkywhitegirl,’ now turns her funked up soul stuff into whiskey drenched roadhouse blues, and to back her up she has gathered up Johnny James constantly rippin’ through strings on lead guitar, Paul Sigmon holding down 2nd rhythm, lead guitar and vocals, and finally Jon Fujimoto and Bob Pickford laying down tight in the rhythms with Jon on bass and Bob on drums.

This band is as real as it gets with everyone havin’ paid their blues dues. Cee Cee, Bob, and Jon have all previously released CD’s in other projects and all the members have played in various other situations in San Diego, Los Angeles and beyond. The audience response wherever they appear is always very good and sometimes overwhelming as fans are touched by Cee Cee’s 'Elvis meets Janis' vocals and the the band’s soul to soul interaction with the audience.

In January 2004, the Cee Cee James Band will begin studio work to write and produce their first CD. In the meantime, they are busy working all over San Diego County building that fan base and makin’ people smile and dance.
